Aussie's Hair Insurance

I bought this awhile back, like over the Christmas holiday I believe! *checks date* Actually it was January 18th apparently, haha oops.

But I am IN LOVE WITH IT.

If you haven't heard of Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle, you've been living under a freaking rock. This is like the 3 minute miracle, except it's a leave in and it's a SPRAY?!

Indeed!

This is a spray leave in conditioner, which I've never used before (maybe I'm the one living under a rock...)

I really do love it though. I spray it on the ends of my hair about an hour or two after taking a shower so that my hair is still pretty damp. I comb through it with a wide tooth comb and my fingers. Any residue on my fingers goes on my shorter layers up top! That way they don't get greasy or flat. It makes my hair feel softer than soft, I don't even know what to compare it to haha

So I suggest buying this!

I bought it from drugstore.com ^^ and you should buy everything when it's on sale and you get free shipping, otherwise it's overpriced like hell.

I also purchased this spray leave-in: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=228328&catid=10726&trxp1=35873

But I don't like it. I thought the sun-touched shine would lighten my hair (I know, what a retarded notion). But it smells weird and kind of dries my hair a bit. I do NOT suggest it.

Also, I'm going to do a post soon about how Aussie has different 3 minute miracles. The one I have at school smells terrible, but it gets the job done I guess =/

Overall, through the years I've had amazing experiences with Aussie products. I've used their shampoos, conditioners, leave-ins, and hair sprays and loved them all except for 2. I would honestly suggest their products to anyone looking for inexpensive and good haircare.

I plan on possibly purchasing a mousse from them soon or something that enhances waves/curls because I really hate flat ironing my hair.

Adios!

End of Co-washing, sunburns, and tanning

I stopped co-washing today, officially. I would have last night, but I forgot my shampoo. Today I used my Redken extreme shampoo and Tresemme moisture conditioner.

I like them both, but I prefer my Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shampoo. I would have used that except it makes my hair oily after a day and a half, and since my hair was already kinda gross from the co-washing, I decided to just use the Redken.

That Tresemme conditioner smells SO good by the way. I've only used it like 3 times, but so far, so good =)

So last week I was on spring break and got a terrible terrible burn. My legs are totally uneven now, so I decided to tan them tonight. I use Jergen's Natural Glow in medium. It's the revitalizing kind. I got it from drugstore.com along with another one and a quicker-tan one for like 10 bucks or something. It was an AMAZING deal.

Also, for sunburns I've found that vinegar can be extremely helpful in turning the burn into a tan. But like... I'm at school and don't have vinegar! The huge downfall of course is that vinegar smells like fried ass.

OH AND my nails are chipping like hell =( China Glaze shocking pink may just be a toe nail color!

Co-washing

I DO NOT LIKE CO-WASHING.

Oh goodness, it makes my hair feel like silk. That silk comes with a price, however. Parts of my hair are greasy and absolutely digusting. My hair has NO volume whatsoever. And I just really like the feeling of clean hair. It's extremely difficult for me not to wash my hair everyday, let me tell you.

But honestly, my hair isn't that bad to begin with! I have two bleached sections and the under 1/4 of my hair is "crimpy" (if that makes any sense..) I have medium-thick hair, but co-washing absolutely just flattened the hell out of my hair. I'm going to have to shampoo it tonight.

This is about 2.8 billion pictures of my hair, combined into one brilliant collage (yes, I realize that they are all essentially the same picture. Oh well!):

I painted my nails "Shocking Pink" from China Glaze to show off my tan. I love love love this color, but it's already chipped on my middle finger. You're going to get quick chipping from a neon color though, even with a badass topcoat. It's just life. I really do adore this color. To me, it's the quintessential hot, neon pink.

I also have my toes painted In The Limelight by China Glaze. Oh goodness, it took FOUR coats to get this color to show up properly. Of course, once it did it looks amazing. For some reason though, it didn't quite work out that well on my big toes. They probably could have used 5-6 coats, but that would just chip off quick.

I think that's all. I do not suggest co-washing if you do NOT have coarse, thick, unruly, and dry hair. Especially if your hair is anything less than thick.

Oh right, I'm about to purchase 2 Jac Vanek bracelets-

I really love love LOVE the Beatles, and I like that these aren't outright Beatles bracelets. I emailed them to see if they would ever consider making a Rubber Soul bracelet (that's my favorite album) and they said maybe, haha. I know it won't happen oh well!!! They did, however, say that they're planning on making more Beatles bracelets. How exciting!

I think I am finally done now! haha

Co-washing, I'm really bad at blogging, and Buxom Lashliner

I think I'm going to start co-washing my hair for a month. Co-washing is basically just washing your hair with a conditioner. I actually used to do this accidentally because I bought two conditioners and didn't both reading the label (I was like 14 and retarded apparently haha). So I'm going to try it out. If my hair is too oily or anything the first week, I'll go back to shampooing, but I'm really hoping this will work!! Eee! haha This is the video I watched on co-washing- http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=41r-pkZnuss&playnext_from=TL&videos=7qh9t5NQOzw&playnext=1

This once a month blogging thing isn't cutting it, haha. Granted, no one is reading my blog now except ME. I'm not even reading it though... I'll try harder.

I've been using the Buxom Lashliner for a while now, and I'm going to do a review on it soon I hope. I think there has been a difference in my lashes (although it could all just be in my head of course). So we shall see! Here is a link to purchase the Buxom Lashliner- http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P243801&categoryId=B70
I have it in Sequins, it's really quite cute and I think it's a good liner for my age (19).

Bye yall!
